Chapter 6: The ideological bias in English text selection

This chapter on the intellectually stifling ideological bias of favouring political correctness in regards to text selection also covers the educationally even more disturbing trend towards choosing the novels, plays and films etc., for study in schools, by quotas related to the race, ethnicity, class, gender and sexual preference of the authors, or of the featured characters in the text, rather than choosing literature according to its cultural, aesthetic or historical significance.  This chapter is presented for free in the interests of promoting important debate and much-needed reform.
